This site is written for parents, teachers, and other adults who choose science toys and kits. It is not written for children.

What we do

We publish general guides about science toys and kits: kit types, age grades, warning labels, small parts, magnets, button batteries, balloons, water beads, chemistry sets, certificates, recalls, lead and phthalate limits, secondhand toys, and storage.

What we do not do

Science Toys is the name of this site, not a store and not a claim about any product. We do not sell toys or kits. We do not publish prices, deals, reviews, ratings, rankings, product picks, age recommendations, or experiment instructions. We do not test, certify, or rate products. We do not accept payment to recommend a retailer, brand, or product.

How we keep it accurate

Facts come from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the Code of Federal Regulations (eCFR), NASA, HRSA's Poison Help, and the National Capital Poison Center, each linked on the page that uses it. None of them endorses this site or any product.

Who runs the site
